Fireplace Phil

Phil came out to service the fireplace 6.9.2015, cleaned it up, made sure it was in good working order.  He has a 1 year warranty for his labor so if anything needs to be done in the next year there is no charge for his labor, only parts if needed.  The warranty is with the fireplace/address, not the person so it carries over to you until 6.9.2016.

The pilot light is off.  Phil can walk you through the process if needed to turn it on, instructions are below as well as on the sticker inside the bottom panel.
It's fairly simple.

Open the front lower panel
You will see a switch on the left for the fan
2 knobs: from left to right: flame height, power switch.
Then there is a silverish box with a black center that is a "remote switch or remote control center".  It has a switch that turns the system off, on, and remote [if you don't want to use the remote turn it to on]
The starter is a little button on the top of the silver box
Then the gas line - turning the switch purpendicular shuts off the gas.

To turn on the pilot light, turn the power switch to the middle position [by the white arrow], and push it in.  While holding it in put the starter.  Hold it for 20 seconds or so and let go.  If the flame stays on turn the power switch the rest of the way to "on".

You can also control the fireplace with the remote.  If the battery dies or you just want to control it manually turn the "remote switch" in the silver box to ON.

The fan can be turned on when in use by turning the switch on.  The fan will go on and off as needed in response to the heat.  The fan may stay on after the fireplace has been turned off to finish cooling it down.

The pilot light can be left on or turned off at the power switch.

Phil's card is also in the bottom of the fireplace, as well as the big sticker with instructions.

KITCHEN

Kitchen installed in July/August of 2013.  Updates in 2015.

The kitchen base cabinets are the standard Ikea cabinets in White.
The doors are Lidingo style in White.

Countertop is Mysori Black Granite (also sometimes sold as Black Pearl) from Galaxy Granite, in Hubbard, OR, purchased through Area Floors in Tigard (Pacific Highway).  Area Floors is a great source for flooring, counter tops, and tile.  They offer discounted prices and we were amazed at the money we saved on the exact same brands, styles, and colors that we were finding for more $$ elsewhere.  They order from the same places and pass the discount on to the customers.

Paint is CREAMY MUSHROOM from Behr, Home Depot
Floor is Bamboo from Costco
Backsplash tile is from Costco: Golden Select glass and stone mosaic wall tile, Item #862793
